“What would you do if you learned today was your last day on Earth?” says Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso. “That’s the question your favorite Marvel heroes are going to ask themselves in their LAST DAYS story lines as they brace for Secret Wars and the end of the Marvel Universe.”
Battleworld is set to transform the Marvel Universe as you know it. But before Secret Wars can begin, this chapter may come to a close. What will our heroes do with their final hours? What secrets will be unearthed? Who will they want to spend their LAST DAYS with?

Battle World

The Marvel Universe has been destroyed! One by one, each and every universe across the cosmos has been eliminated. All that exists is a new, patchwork planet made up of the remains of decimated universes.
Titles carrying the BATTLEWORLD banner will focus on the interworking and interaction of all the domains now fused together throughout the one and only remaining planet! The Secret Wars are waged as the last remaining fragments of dead universes fight for survival. Who rules these domains? Who comes out on top? Who lives? Who dies?

Battle world - A four-issue anthology series featuring various characters – and various alternate universe version of characters – fighting it out. Series editor Jon Moisan describes the book as “the weirder and more fun, the better!” citing possible stories as unique as 1602 Punisher versus 2099 Iron Man and a multi-universe Howard the Duck battle royale.

Battleworld Inhumans: Atilan Rising - Inhuman and Uncanny Inhumans writer Charles Soule is joining with artist John Timms for what Marvel calls "a tale of romance and intrigue" that runs through the center of Secret Wars. Soule goes on to describe Inhumans: Attilan Rising as a "sweeping war epic,"

Battleworld Master Of Kung Fu - Starting in May, writer Haden Blackman’s MASTER OF KUNG FU reveals how Secret Wars will impact even the bastions of immortality, such as K’un-Lun, when he chronicles the adventures of Shang-Chi with artist Dalibor Talajic as part of Battleworld.

WARZONES!, The final umbrella of titles launching during Secret Wars!
Titles carrying the WARZONES! banner tell stories of the individual dominions of Battleworld. What happens within their borders? What heroes guard their skies? What villains conspire within? How does over 75 years of Marvel’s epic history play out now that Battleworld is all there is?

SECRET WARS JOURNAL anthology infrastructure will present a variety of shorter tales set across Battleworld. SECRET WARS JOURNAL will feature stories that “tie in very directly with primary Secret Wars stories, but there are also other stories where you’ll get to see territories of the Battleworld landscape that you really won’t see in any of the other books"



Secret Wars 2099 #1 May 2015
Starting this May, the SPIDER-MAN 2099 creative team of writer Peter David and artist Will Sliney broaden their view of the future universe within the Warzones by launching SECRET WARS 2099. The story will focus on an Avengers team featuring wholly original 2099 takes on various characters, according to David, as well as “one character who is coming whole cloth from the original Marvel Universe; as the series progresses, we will indeed also see X-Men 2099, Hulk 2099, and a variety of other characters.

As Secret Wars devastates the Marvel Universe by bringing all sorts of realities together on an enormous Battleworld, Wade Wilson will head back to the original 1984 SECRET WARS series for his Warzones! tie-in, DEADPOOL’S SECRET SECRET WARS.
Known for debuting Spider-Man's black costume, introducing the villain Titania and featuring Doctor Doom stealing the Beyonder's power, the first-ever event series also included a variety of appearances by Deadpool that readers never saw.
